About Central PA Mesh

Central PA Mesh brings together Meshcore and Meshtastic to build a reliable, community-owned LoRa radio network across Central Pennsylvania. No cell towers, no internet required for local messaging.

Meshcore First

We primarily use Meshcore for lightweight, multi-hop LoRa messaging. It's simple, scalable, and designed for real-world off-grid use across Central PA.

Meshtastic Welcome

Meshtastic users are part of the broader community. We're happy to help bridge networks and share knowledge across both Meshcore and Meshtastic in Pennsylvania.

Local & Decentralized

No central servers. Messages hop from node to node across the region and beyond. The more nodes, the stronger the mesh.
